Avito Office in Hygge Style 

This is our second joint project with Avito. The first experience was very successful. The workspace concept developed jointly turned out to be functional and comfortable. Recall: Avito works on the principle of Agile, where the company needs to equip places for project teams of 5-8 people, convenient for both individual work and all kinds of meetings. Moreover, it is necessary to create a multifunctional, transformable space, since the number and composition of teams can change. In addition, it is necessary to provide roomy areas for meetings of large groups, since several teams can be combined into “units”.

The task was to repeat the functionality of our first project for Avito, but visually make the floor completely different, unlike all other offices of the company.

Avito was invented by two Swedish entrepreneurs, so the new project was named “Originally from Scandinavia”, and then simply “Avito in Hygge style”, and is made in Scandinavian style. The Scandinavian style is democratic, functional and cozy, which is very suitable for young professionals in the information technology industry. They, like no one else, appreciate the homeliness that we have created for them.

The main find of the first project is a unique flexible layout of working areas, which allows the company to quickly change the interior and respond to any changes; in the new project, it is implemented using Clestra products and a pine timber frame. Natural wood is one of the main elements of construction in Scandinavia, and we are proud that we were able to implement such a solution in our project. Pine treated with colorless oil makes the interior look truly Scandinavian and cozy.

Furniture and lighting from Swedish, Finnish and Danish manufacturers were also used. Decorated the office with drawings of northern landscapes: the sea, fishing houses, lighthouses, seagulls. Peakart artists supplemented and diversified the idea with textures, graphics and color.

In the new project, the lighting control system has been improved. Now each employee can adjust the level of illumination above the desktop through the application on the mobile phone.

For us, cooperation with architects Denis Lobanov and Anna Kasyanova, as well as with the project team headed by Dmitry Chupakhin, was very successful in 2018-2019, when Avito rented another floor in the White Gardens business center and started to designing. It was then that we implemented a new approach to planning solutions in accordance with the new structure of our P&T department. We continued this successful experience on the 2nd floor project. This time, we paid more attention to our Swedish roots and the Hygge principle. The new space turned out to be warm, cozy, even homely, with natural materials and oak flooring, drawings on the walls, but at the same time technological.
